Sklavenitis Konstantinos

Konstantinos Sklavenitis was born in Lefkada in 1984. He studied at the University of Ioannina’s Department of Fine Arts and Arts Sciences and at AKTO - Middlesex University, where he earned a Master of Arts in Design.

Since 2010 he works as a cartoonist for the newspaper Ta Nea. His comics and illustrations have also appeared in the newspaper To Vima, and the magazines Tachydromos, The Book’s Journal and socomic.gr.

Anonymous the Athenian (ComicDom Press) is his most recently published comics series.

His work has been showcased in various art exhibitions and festivals in Greece and abroad (Athens Video Art Festival 2008 and 2010, Milano Film Festival 2009, Leskovac Comics Festival 2013 - where he was awarded second prize for Best Short Story, et al.)

In the summer of 2018, the “Theodore Stamos” Art Gallery hosted Walking in Lefkada, a show featuring the 30 drawings by Mr. Sklavenitis that sparked the creation of this book.
