This two part method is an aid to learning for future pianists as well as for young teacher starting out in the field. Major importance is given here to the first lessons in piano playing, structured on the principles of the Russian School. Methodological and pedagogical advice is given, concerning the correct positioning of the hands of the beginner piano player and suggesting various exercises for developing and strengthening the fingers.
