Philipas Karavokyris was born in 1955 in Lefkas, where he lives and works. His poems have been published in the Anthology of Lefkas' Poets. In his poetry the liquid landscape that surrounds the town is the primordial frame from where the idols jump out, figures of which existence plays an eternal presence and absence game.
