Dance songs
In this collection of “Anthologies of Songs” are registered as many songs have survived to the erosion of time and are still sung today by groups of friends who resist to television. These books were conceived thinking of people to whom singing has an important place in their life. The way the songs are presented is in confluence with this purpose.
The lyrics are not presented as poems, but instead as they used to be sung, with every repetition of words, syllables or interjections are present in the original performance of the song. The first verse gives the motto. There is additional support to the singer (but also to the musician that might comp) given by the asterisks on the top of the words where there is a harmonic change. Finally, the rhythmic and harmonic comment at the end of each song indicates to the musician who comps the traditional folk mode to be used.
The collection of small “Anthologies of Songs” has been included in the catalogue of approved books to the school libraries, according to the act 42nd/6-7-99 of the Book Evaluation Board of the Ministry of National Education and Religions.
