The countdown for the 16th WCMT 2020: “Polyrhythms of Music Therapy” in Tshwane, South Africa has begun. Have you started saving and planning to attend? Now is the time.

As part of the congress theme, topics to be explored will be: honouring diversity, promoting decolonization, valuing debate and difference, mining resources, hearing silenced voices, inviting new voices, rooting and growing music therapy in context and championing relevant social issues through music therapy practice, theory and research.

Tshwane is located in the Gauteng Province, close to Johannesburg. The charm of this city lies in its unity – a harmonious blend of African roots and European traditions. Tshwane is a city rich in culture and diversity.
