This acrobat brings ‘Clair de Lune’ to life

To mark the centenary year of Debussy’s death, pianist Alexandre Tharaud and acrobat Yoann Bourgeois teamed up for a choreographed performance of “Clair de Lune” from the French composer’s Suite bergamasque. Already a wildly popular piece, this year it seems even more musicians want to play with it in tribute to the pianist and composer — which means you really need to put in work in order to truly stand out.
