The "Pianist's Technique" is the basic and required book of technique for each pianist. In this book are included all the major and minor scales, which are presented in a root motion, contrary motion and scale in third, in sixth and in tenth. All the three tone major and minor chords and their arpeggios with modified root motion and contrary motion. Like the authors mark in their introduction, they keep the accepted fingering, while they propose, as the case may be, an alternative fingering. Offering this way the possibility to the students to choose, according to the physiology of their hands, the most comfortable version.

It should be added that the present work includes an introductive article, in which is displayed in a succinct way the development course of the pianist's technique, while some opinions are formulated about pedagogy and method. The authors consider that their work fulfil its purpose, if it catches the interest especially of the young pianists and the beginners' educators. The prestige of the great Russian school of piano as well as the personal fame of the authors is a guarantee of the effectiveness of the "Pianist's Technique".
